Book Complete, Film in Production
The book Flora is now complete and is in the process of being published. The film to accompany the book has been progressing between multiple projects and now has a few completed scenes to be shared as teasers as animating continues. Look for more updates on the film and those in-between works.

Book/Film in Progress
I have not dropped off of the face of the planet. Rather, I've been pulling together a book that has neared completion and I am now working on the accompanying animated short to toss into the wilds that is known as the independent film circuit. Though there have been many side projects and set-backs along the way do to finances and that thing we call life, the film is underway.

Project Art
In an effort to bring awareness to the numerous occurrences of human trafficking that take place just here in North Carolina, this wonderful woman Christin Link has kept together (what will hopefully be a by monthly event to support an end to trafficking. A fun even, grab a pint, browse the art, and enjoy the music. Help us put and end to something that should never have been a problem in the first place. More events to come and I will keep you posted. Whether you'd like to participate or show your support, all are welcome.

St. Baldrick's Fundraiser
St. Baldrick's Fundraier! This event was a HUGE success. Several artists came together to donate to a silent auction on behalf of the even raising funds to help put an end to childhood cancers. This his home for me as I had a childhood friend who suffered from Leukemia, spent over a year in the hospital, and has since recovered with a family of her own and moved on to become a nurse to help others! Artists, including myself, donated pieces to raise funds and awareness, and bands played the whole night through. Wonderful group of people. Wonderful cause!

Getting back to updates after a long absence, here we go! This will be brief with more details to come, but March is bringing with it an art show and a brief local art show and vendor event. On top of these upcoming events, there are also two projects in the works which I will be posting updates on soon. Keep an eye out - Who knows what will show up!

Upcoming Events
There is A LOT going on this month! Wrapping up work on the stopmotion props and puppets for a portion of a film I'll be working to complete in the coming months, making new work for an art show and an art festival. More news on the coming month soon, but for now, I'm going to throw up information for the goings on over the next couple of weeks!

On April 30th the RAW show is coming back to Raleigh and I'll be displaying 2D works this go around. I'd love for those of you in the area to drop by and say "hey" (I would appreciate hugs and possibly a doughnut), not to mention to help support local artists. We have so much talent in this area, and these folks work hard - Support helps keep them going and able to make more beauty for our eyeballs.
On April 26th, Spring Daze is back again in Cary. I'll have steampunk themed and metalwork jewelry available. This festival is a great way to see what local artists are up to, and it's also a great excuse to get out of the house and harass your fellow humans!
